Basic Modern Brush Lettering
& Watercolors

In this workshop, you will learn how to write by using a calligraphy pen and Japanese Sumi ink. At the end of class you will be able to write a beautiful quote written in modern calligraphy style. All supplies, guides, and workbooks are included with your registration. Each participant will receive a special workbook containing tips and step by step guide Basic Modern Calligraphy. MELT & POUR SOAP MAKING 101

If you have always wanted to learn to make your own soap this is the workshop for you. You will learn the art of soap making by the method of melt and pour. All the ingredients use in this workshop are local and organic. You will learn to mix different colors of clay in order to achieve a beautiful color for your soap. As opposed to color dies or artificial ingredients found in the commercial grade soaps. Each participant will make 4 bars of soap or 4 fun shapes to take home. A special gift and refreshments will also be provided.

Circular weaving

In this fun 2 hour workshop, you will learn how to wind a warp onto an embroidery hoop and how to weave in a circular fashion. I will show you even how to add some fringe to your piece! By the end of this workshop, will have learn how to weave in a circular loom and you continue to work on your piece and complete it at home.

This will be a special event at Madewell in
Atherthon Mills. I was invited to come and share my love for candle making. I will do candle pouring demos and will have a variety of hand poured candles with organic natural essential oils.
Come pour your own custom candle with us! Select your favorite fragrance that speaks to you. We will provide beautiful handmade vessels. This candles will make an excellent gift for any occation.

Procreate illustrations

If you always wanted to create your own doodles and fun illustrations this class is for you. In this fun class you will learn different ways of illustrating form an original illustration we will create in pen or pencil to digital form. We will use an iPad and learn simple tips and steps to build a fun and beautiful illustration using Procreate. If you have your own iPad and pencil you are encourage to bring your own. Otherwise, I will provide you with al the tools that you need.

Watercolors &
Florals

If you love all flowers and watercolors this is the workshop for you. We will combine drawings of flowers as well as some illustration tips along with simple watercolors techniques. All paper supplies, brushers, and a set of paints for each participant are included with your registration. In this workshop you will learn the basic concepts behind watercolors/illustration. At the end of the class you will leave with 2-4 of your own hand painted watercolor prints. All ready to be gift to a special someone or for you to keep.

Terrarium

The art of making your own stamps and printing onto fabric has always fascinated me. In this class , you will learn how to carve your own linoleum stamp and print your own set of kitchen towels. I will show you even how to mix inks that are great for fabric and we will together we will print on fabric and even on paper. At the end of the class you will have a beautiful set of kitchen napkins to take home and use as you wish.

This printmaking workshop is one of a kind! You will learn to work with different textile inks and fabrics. We will pick from different illustrated designs and carve our own stamps. In class we will discuss different techniques of printing along with tips that can enhance your design and printing. At the end of class each of the participants will take home two unique kitchen towels.
